SKYPE CALL IN JUNE

Under the global school partnership, initiated by the British Council , the primary section had an interactive SKYPE session with our partner school in England ( Stanton Under Bardon primary community school) on the 21st June 2012.
The theme chosen for this activity was the LONDON OLYMPICS 2012 to be held from 27th July to the 12th august 2012.
The Olympic and Paralympics games are much more than sporting excellence. The 7 values to be applied and learnt from these games are:
1. Courage
2. Determination
3. Inspiration
4. Equality
5. Friendship
6. Respect
7. Excellence

Both the schools had prepared charts, stories and songs highlighting the values of courage and determination.

The children could learn more about the Olympics and the values they stand for.

This was an exciting and enriching session as children were able to connect with the partner school on the other side of the globe.
