Exploring Ecology, Embracing Nature

Chennai, June 22: The Hindu senior secondary school, Indiranagar, Adyar has arranged an educational field trip for class 9 students to Tholkappia Poonga (Adyar Eco- Park). The visit provided an excellent opportunity to learn about environmental conservation, biodiversity, and the importance of wetlands.

During the visit, students walked along the nature trails and observed different species of plants, insects and birds. They also observed an animated comical video depicting the present lifestyle and its impact on nature. Followed by the consequences importing the need for conserving nature.

The lush greenery, peaceful surroundings, and informative displays made the trip both enjoyable and educational. Students were fascinated by the rich flora and fauna and gained a deeper appreciation for nature and wildlife conservation.
