The corridors of our institution transformed into a vibrant display of talent and camaraderie as we celebrated the 28th edition of Kalāvaibhavam on 16 and 17 July 2026.  Marking a journey that began way back in 1990, the events revolved around the theme, “Zenith Bound,” serving as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when passion meets culture and discipline.

​A Confluence of Talent

​Over two exhilarating days, our campus played host to 20 participating schools, each bringing a unique energy and spirit to the event. The atmosphere was electric, defined by a relentless pursuit of excellence and the formation of bonds that transcended the competitive stage.

​The cultural landscape of the event was diverse and captivating. We witnessed razor-sharp wit and spontaneity in the JAM (Just-A-Minute) sessions, the power of persuasion in Shipwreck and the forward-thinking creativity showcased in ADZAP. Artistic depth was on full display during the Music and Dance competitions, while the Drawing events highlighted the innovation of the participants.

​Complementing the artistic flair, our sports arenas buzzed with intense spirit. Whether it was the tactical play in Box Cricket, the fast-paced action of Basketball, or the speed and precision in Futsal, the participants proved that the competitive spirit is as versatile as it is fierce.

​​The event commenced on a high note, with our distinguished alumna, Dr.Rangappriya Sankaranarayanan, gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest for the inauguration. She captivated the entire audience with a mesmerizing performance on the violin, setting the perfect pace to the two-day cultural event to follow.

​The grand valedictory function was presided over by Sri Ramkumar Mohan (of the renowned Trichur Brothers) and his wife, Smt. Remaa Ramkumar, who presided over the event and distributed the prizes. Amongst the 20 schools who participated, the ultimate honour of the event was claimed by Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Virugambakkam.

The two days’ experience has enriched every stakeholder culturally and spiritually ensuring a seamless flow of trans-cultural learning and discovering the treasures in them.
