Orientation Program for the teachers by Swami.Vimurtanandaji, from Ramakrishna Mutt.( Mylapore)
The topic – “You v/s You”, by Swamiji was a vivid and graphic picture of a teacher’s profession. He explained the importance of our chosen line of work by highlighting the challenges faced by us, which is “we ourselves” the way he elaborated the topic with power point presentation and videos was really enjoyable and informative.
He went on to say that the challenges that teachers faced can be summed up as
1. You v/s other professions
2. You v/s your colleagues
3. You v/s your mind-set
4. You v/s your challenges, and
5. You v/s your potentialities
He not only made us realize our challenges but also gave us inputs on how to overcome them and the tools we could use to do so.
Starting our new session on such a positive note, after the principal’s praise for the efforts of all teachers, the outstanding results of class 10th and 12th was the icing on the cake.
